Welcome to Sherman Oaks Elementary.

Nestled among the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks Elementary is home to approximately 800 students in Kindergarten through grade 5. We emphasize depth of learning in the core academic subjects of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as an expansive curriculum of enrichment studies such as visual arts, performing arts, physical education, technology and media arts, and leadership skills.
