Welcome, SOES Alumni!

These pages are designed to ensure that your ties with SOES and your friends last well beyond your graduation. Our alumni represent a significant and special part of the Sherman Oaks family, and we are excited that you are visiting our web site. We hope that you will use this site to stay connected to SOES while also keeping in touch with old friends and former classmates.

Currently, our alumni attend leading colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and abroad, and they hold positions in the top of their fields ranging from aerospace engineers to artists.

Students who graduated Sherman Oaks Elementary 8 years ago are entering college this year. Just in the last twenty years, Sherman Oaks Elementary has over 2,500 alumni who provide excellent opportunities for career networking, mentoring, and socializing. The School hopes to hold events for alumni throughout the year offering alumni opportunities to meet with old friends, get to know some new ones and learn about what is new at their beloved elementary alma mater. Events such as Alumni Weekend and others are wonderful opportunities for alumni to reconnect with each other, reminisce on their fun, formative years, and see how their cherished school is raising the next generation in the Sherman Oaks community.

Founded in 1924, Sherman Oaks Elementary is fortunate to enroll the children and grandchildren of alumni. With each passing year, the number of second and third generation children at SOES grows, strengthening our traditions and increasing our community ties.

SOES alumni actively support the school through volunteer activities and services and through gift support to capital projects and the Annual Fund. They are proud of their school, their association with it, and want to help the school succeed and sustain the high level of quality and fun experiences that they loved.

Swing by anytime, surprise your favorite teacher -- they will love it! Come by and see the exciting projects we are working on. Who knows, maybe you are in a position to help get it done! Just recently, alumnus Chris Cleoni heard about our new computer lab, and offered the services of his professional painting company to help make it one of the nicest rooms on campus.
