Our children benefit from the Arts Cadre program, which, in addition to dance and visual arts, teaches our children theatrical arts by a specialized professional teacher.

Through the drama curriculum, our children learn to feel free in movement and theatrical expression, and trust their instincts in portraying different personas. Their imaginations come alive, inhabiting familiar and unfamiliar scenarios.

Such dramatic education furthers our children's empathy, sympathy, and self-confidence performing in front of others.

In addition, the children learn the language and theories common to the theatrical arts, and learn how to break down and construct scenes, dialogue, and dramatic arcs.

Our kids love their drama rotation, and their enjoyment radiates.

After each class, students write in their journals, reflecting on the class and their experience with the day's material and performance. During the next class, students have the opportunity to share their journal entries if they wish. This helps reinforce and build upon previous learnings.
